Santa Clara, California-(May 15, 2018-PRWeb)—Uila, the Application-centric Infrastructure Monitoring & Analytics company, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued US Patent 9,935,854, entitled " Infrastructure performance monitoring” . This patent covers methods of monitoring virtual application performance, identifying the degradation in the application performance, and then correlating that degradation to one or more of virtual and physical infrastructure components.
Today’s IT Environments are Large, Distributed, Across Multiple Clouds, but the existing monitoring practices have many pitfalls that have not kept pace with the new environment, leading users and businesses to a potential halt as part of their digital transformation journey. The current monitoring tools have also reinforced the established silos that separate applications, virtual infrastructure, and physical infrastructure as well as the supporting IT teams within the data center. As a result, data center teams have no inter-silo visibility and are unable to efficiently connect the dots between infrastructure and application performance. Uila introduced a revolutionary vision that addresses this problem, to help align business and IT Operations goals in a single product. This full stack visibility for virtualized data centers reduces troubleshooting time from days to minutes, enabling lean IT teams to get time back for more strategic projects.
"This novel patented technology offers an easy to use and most-importantly effective monitoring capability for the modern data center to solve any Application or Business Service outages or slowdowns due to infrastructure issues " said Chia-Chee Kuan, CEO of Uila. "We are confident that Uila’s expanding intellectual property estate, including this newly issued patent, will provide our products with the long-term market exclusivity in terms of correlating Business-impacting Infrastructure issues."
Prior to this latest patent issued, Uila was also issued the US Patent 9,647,909 last year entitled “Monitor a Data Center Infrastructure” which covered methods for monitoring the data center infrastructure based on the collection and grouping of traffic data for the virtual network, collection of storage I/O performance information, central processing unit (CPU) and memory usage information.
Uila with its Application-Centric Infrastructure Monitoring and Analytics identifies performance bottlenecks for business-critical services & plans Workload Migration strategies for Private & Hybrid Cloud environments. Uila provides service dependency mapping, full stack correlation with 1-click root cause analysis and patented deep packet inspection technology that understands over 3,000 application protocols for transactional meta data analysis. Businesses use Uila to align themselves with their IT Operations team and cut time to resolution from days to minutes, keep their application at peak performance at all time and ensure end-user satisfaction to the fullest.
